Here’s a realistic week-by-week guide to what you can expect during a full home remodel — including flooring, kitchen, bathrooms, and trim work.
Week 1: Demo + Prep Work
Full demo of flooring, kitchen cabinets, and bathrooms
Popcorn ceiling removal
Begin ceiling refinishing with sprayed knockdown texture
Prep surfaces for flooring install
What to expect: It’s loud, messy, and essential. We keep it as tight and clean as possible.
Week 2: Floor Tile + Shower Prep
Install porcelain plank flooring (typically 9x48 throughout)
Begin master shower prep: hang cement board, waterproof, build curb, install PVC liner
Coordinate tile layout for entire home
Why it matters: Getting floors in before cabinets ensures clean lines and no awkward cuts later.
Week 3: Kitchen Cabinet Install + Tile Showers
Install kitchen cabinets (uppers and base)
Tile shower walls in the master and guest bathrooms
Begin prepping backsplash area

Week 4: Countertops + Trim
